Shadows can be important but at the same time they can be ignored. It's the way you potray them. I happened to notice that because I looked at it for awhile. I'm sure no one else will unless they like to nitpick like me.
I like the idea of her standing on nothing very much so as I'm looking at this picture again. Though it's realistic at the same time, her standing on nothing adds a sense of wonder. Or at least for me ><
And you're welcome though for what I'm not quite sure.
To me, I'm wondering how she can stand like that. It just looks a bit weird because on the right side, her heel is a bit up but the ground looks a bit bumping in the front. But her pose says the heel is up more. And the waveyness thingy, she's standing on a bump... Have you ever tried standing on a bump like that? It can't done. The other side looks better though not quite right however I can't place my finger on it... -thinks- And where is her shadow? I don't see it... Oh no! Has her shadow run away from her? -pulls out needle- WE'll saw it back on ^^ ... Pay no attention to me.
Again, this might all just be me. -anime fall-
Positives: (I can't give you only remarks on her feet ya know!) I like the rocks. I like how they aren't smooth or anything and the fact that their very dark. The shadowing of the rocks is nice. I also like their reflection in the water. Though now I'm utterly confused if she's standing on water of land. If she's standing on water then ignore all my remarks before about her pose. XD
I like the background very much so -pauses in midsentance- nope, no more critizing... Erm, it's nice ^^ What a tacky way to finish a sentance... -sighs-
Of course, I just /love/ the cape. The cape is awesome.
Conclusion: The horrible, good job. -dies once more- I seriously need to start coming up with something better! -wines- I'm also favoriting this.
